My background

I'm Ana Cris Chávez, and I've been teaching Spanish and Mexican culture since 2017. I studied History at UNAM and previously worked as a tour guide in Mexico City, where I learned to explain not only what you see in Mexico, but also what it feels like to experience and live here..

Why I teach this way

I learned that speaking Spanish well doesn't necessarily mean you'll connect with the people you're talking to. That's why I teach through culture: so that the Spanish you use makes sense in its Mexican context and helps you have real, meaningful, natural conversations.

My Approach

I bring empathy, structure, and intellectual curiosity to the learning process. You won't memorize rules. You'll learn to think and respond in Spanish..
